The Third Sign of the Apocalypse

3. The Rebirth of Israel

    • Hagee reminds his readers of May 15, 1948, when the United Nations announced their recognition of the state of Israel. Hagee describes Israel as the fig tree described in Matthew; he claims that when Israel is a young tree, it will be reborn and growing, but, "as soon as its branch becomes tender and starts putting forth its leaves", the end times are at hand (see Matt. 24:32-34).
    • The fact that Israel was made a nation in one day is proof, according to Hagee, that this is a fulfillment of biblical scripture: "who has heard of such things... shall a land be born in one day... shall a nation be delivered in one moment... yet as soon as Zion was in labor she delivered her children" (Isa. 66: 8-10).

Some really spooky stuff

Every major religion speaks of the apocalypse, including the largest and most influential of them all: Christianity.
Throughout the Bible, we are being told exactly what to look out for when the end of days approaches.
Every day, starting today, I will reveal one of these signs.

The First Sign

1. The Knowledge Explosion
  • Hagee claims that during the end time an explosion of knowledge will occur. He gives examples of present technological advances to illustrate his point (airplanes, life support systems, internet).
  • Hagee derives this claim from the Bible, "But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book till the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase" (Daniel 12:4).
  • Hagee says, "a literal translation of this Scripture indicates that during the end time, or the terminal generation, an explosion of knowledge will occur."

The Second Sign

The Second Sign

2. Plague in the Middle East
  •   In the end times there will be plagues and signs that are similar to plagues, like the effects of nuclear radiation.
  • Zechariah foresaw these future plagues when he wrote, "And this shall be the plague...their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths" (Zech. 14:12-15).
  • There are two possible interpretations of this passage: 1) Ebola Virus that causes similar symptoms, and the effects of  nuclear radiation that can literally dissolve flesh. Hagee believes with these modern realities, Zechariah's prophecy can be now understood.

Looks like they're making a movie trying to monetize off of the 2012 phenomena. Personally, I think this is ludacris. Who would try to monetize over millions of dying human beeings? It's just sad how people will reject the truth like this.
Anyway here's the trailer for the upcoming movie "2012": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz86TsGx3fc

December 2012 marks the ending of the current baktun cycle of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. Though the Long Count was used by many cultures in pre-Columbian America and was most likely invented by the Olmec,[5] it has become closely associated with the Maya civilization, whose classic period lasted from 250 to 900 AD.[6] The Long Count set its "year zero" at a point in the past marking the end of the previous world and the beginning of the current one, which corresponds to either 11 or 13 August 3114 BC in the Proleptic Gregorian calendar, depending on the formula used.[7]
Unlike the 52-year calendar round still used today among the Maya, the Long Count was linear, rather than cyclical, and kept time roughly in units of 20, so 20 days made a uinal, 18 uinals, or 360 days, made a tun, 20 tuns made a katun, and 20 katuns, or 144,000 days, made up a baktun. So, for example, the Mayan date of 8.3.2.10.15 represents 8 baktuns, 3 katuns, 2 tuns, 10 uinals and 15 days since creation. Many Mayan inscriptions have the count shifting to a higher order after 13 baktuns.[8][9] Today, the most widely accepted correlations of the end of the thirteenth baktun, or Mayan date 13.0.0.0.0, with the Western calendar are either December 21 or December 23, 2012.[10] Even before the dating issue was settled, the early Mayanist and astronomer Maud Worcester Makemson had written in 1957 that "[t]he completion of a Great Period of 13 baktuns would have been of the utmost significance to the Maya".[11] After the correct date was determined, the anthropologist Munro S. Edmonson added that "there appears to be a strong likelihood that the eral calendar, like the year calendar, was motivated by a long-range astronomical prediction, one that made a correct solsticial forecast 2,367 years into the future in 355 B.C. [sic]".[12]

Crop Circle Messages?

rop circles have been around for some 40+ years now; however, this new concept and term didn’t make it into the Oxford Dictionary until 1990. Crop circles are patterns created by the flattening of crops such as wheat, barley, rye, or corn. What took so long was the thinking that they are man-made hoaxes or works of art. Do we close the book on any other thinking about such phenomena?

Let’s play along and take a deeper look than just the superficial hoax theory.

Could they be caused by ball lightning and vortices in the wind producing isolated indentations in crops? Ah, that seems more remote to me that sophisticated pranksters somehow with engineering degrees that allow them to accomplish such amazing designs. And, there are some wild things out there. Then there are people like Colin Andrews, an electrical engineer from the U.K., has been researching the crop circle phenomenon since 1983. His take is greatly different.

His recently published book, Government Circles, is quite a read! :-)

Colin Andrews has been disputing the British Governments document that set out their official position regards involvement of the Ministry of Defense in crop circle and UFO research. Andrews showed documentary Evidence from his book that they lied- and not just once. The game is ON!

What we do know is that the whole concept of crop circles has gone from very basic circles to sophisticated designs beyond what one would think any of us humanoids could do- and overnight as well. Could it be that these designs (some are fractals) which depict the universe, the solar system, and other galaxies are coming from some sort of higher consciousness? And what does this have to do with the Mayan calendar and or 2012?

Andrews writes of a meeting that he had with Aztec elder Tlakaelel in which a design was given to Colin to see if he had ever seen such in the various crop circles. Colin had not. Then within thirty minutes of their meeting he was faxed that exact design which appeared in a field in Silbury Hill, England. Colin’s meeting with Tlakaelel was in America. Could it be that our “consciousness”, our intent is making its way into the third dimension somehow?

I don’t know the answer to that one.

But this I believe. Very few of the crop circles could be done by humans, not nature as we know her. Are there messages for us from afar, or from within our consciousness? I’m not ready to say no.

Is google really your friend?

I just got out of a meeting with a couple of friends. We usually meet up and discuss the situation of the world once a month or so. Today, at our meeting, my friend Josh had a very interesting idea. The internet is starting to grow more and more interconnected. Everything directs to everything. The point is, what if this has something to do with what the Mayans foresaw over a thousand years ago? What if the December 21st, 2012 Apocalypse coincides or is predated by a mass internet rebellion. More specifically, what my friend had in mind was that the most interconnected website on the internet would connect the dots and grow a conscience of it's own. Which website am I talking about? That's right, google.

With millions and millions of websites connected to it, it's starting to look more like a nervous system than a search engine. It's starting to look and act more and more as one entity, one mind. This would coincide with the ancient Mayan prediction of a mass awakening. A very interesting thought, indeed. We should all follow the search engine closely in the near future, the signs are already there.

Earth - A Cosmic Experience?

What would we have to talk about if it weren’t for the Mayan calendar and December 21, 2012? How about healthcare, the state of the US$, oil prices, a possible war in the Middle East (when is there not that possibility?), and so on. But, how about a look not at when the Mayan calendar ENDS, but when it BEGINS?

Maybe as interesting as to when the Mayan calendar began is the fact that many calendars began at that same time.

What’s up with so many civilizations and cultures popping up at the same time? Was the world invaded by aliens, seeded by star particles, or visited by the Nephilim as the Bible mentions? Since being accurate to the day isn’t what carbon dating is about or the other methods of determining the age of things, what’s a couple hundred years when considering the earth’s age of some five billion or the universe at something like 13-15 billion years old.

BANG! Did it happen (the BIG one) 13 or 15 billion years ago? :-)

Here’s the question. Is it strange that the Mayan calendar began at 3114BCE and that the Sumerian, Egyptian, and other civilizations appeared about the same time? Is it weird that Stonehenge and other massive megalithic structures date back to this same time? Isn’t it interesting that the Egyptian Phoenix cycle ends in 2012? There are far more commonalities for the 3000-3500BCE “start time” that one could rightly ask, is this whole earth thing some sort of a cosmic experience?

Have been put here on earth for a season and that season ends in 2012; however, a new season starts, whatever that is?

But of course there are other questions to be asked. What about prior to 3000-3500BCE? What about the stories of Atlantis, and Lemuria? Did they not exist or are the theories regarding their cultures wrong? And how old is mankind (with whatever definition you want to give him, or whatever biological labeling)? There are lots of questions. And maybe it’s the question that more important than the answer(s).

Galactic Equator

According to John Major Jenkins, it will take 36 years to precess through the Galactic equator.  The Galactic Alignment "zone" is
1998 +/- 18 years = 1980 to 2016.
This is "era 2012"

[So why are we worried?]

Maya concepts of time

With the development of the place-notational Long Count calendar (believed to have been inherited from other Mesoamerican cultures), the Maya had an elegant system with which events could be recorded in a linear relationship to one another, and also with respect to the calendar ("linear time") itself. In theory, this system could readily be extended to delineate any length of time desired, by simply adding to the number of higher-order place markers used (and thereby generating an ever-increasing sequence of day-multiples, each day in the sequence uniquely identified by its Long Count number). In practice, most Maya Long Count inscriptions confine themselves to noting only the first five coefficients in this system (a b'ak'tun-count), since this was more than adequate to express any historical or current date (with an equivalent span of approximately 5125 solar years). Even so, example inscriptions exist which noted or implied lengthier sequences, indicating that the Maya well understood a linear (past-present-future) conception of time.
However, and in common with other Mesoamerican societies, the repetition of the various calendric cycles, the natural cycles of observable phenomena, and the recurrence and renewal of death-rebirth imagery in their mythological traditions were important and pervasive influences upon Maya societies. This conceptual view, in which the "cyclical nature" of time is highlighted, was a pre-eminent one, and many rituals were concerned with the completion and re-occurrences of various cycles. As the particular calendaric configurations were once again repeated, so too were the "supernatural" influences with which they were associated. Thus it was held that particular calendar configurations had a specific "character" to them, which would influence events on days exhibiting that configuration. Divinations could then be made from the auguries associated with a certain configuration, since events taking place on some future date would be subject to the same influences as its corresponding previous cycle dates. Events and ceremonies would be timed to coincide with auspicious dates, and avoid inauspicious ones.[6]
The completion of significant calendar cycles ("period endings"), such as a k'atun-cycle, were often marked by the erection and dedication of specific monuments (mostly stela inscriptions, but sometimes twin-pyramid complexes such as those in Tikal and Yaxha), commemorating the completion, accompanied by dedicatory ceremonies.

The Pyramid of the Moon

Was is just a coincidence that all the great ancient civilizations of the earth started building Pyramids simultaneously? What do you guys think?

Will the world end in 2012?

http://www.jamaicaobserver.com
According to the culture of ancient Maya, part of what scholars call Mesoamerica, astronomy predicts some major cosmic developments for December 21, 2012, including, perhaps, the end of the world as we now know it, as some people believe. Mayan calendars are still used by a few cultures in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador and are said to be the most accurate ones in existence. They date the solar year accurately within minutes, taking account of the cycles of sun, moon, Venus, and other cosmic bodies and only have to add one "leap day" after 380,000 years. Mayan civilisation was quite advanced, possessing technology that modern man is still trying to comprehend.

Pygmy Hippos in Cyprus - Eaten to Extinction?

Once again I suspect that archaeologists are making false assumptions when studying piles of bones.
Half way down a cliff on Cyprus's southern coast, researchers dug up thousands of remains of the animal which is thought to have roamed the island for perhaps a million or more years during the Pleistocene period, and then died out around 12,000 years ago.

Today, nothing remotely resembling a pygmy hippo roams Cyprus. Its largest wild mammals are timid sheep, strictly protected from an army of enthusiastic hunters, and donkeys.

..."There were over 500 individual hippos represented at the site ... for some reason they (humans) stored the bones, instead of throwing them into the sea, perhaps for use as fuel," said Simmons, who has written a book on the subject.

Together with thousands of pygmy hippo bones, as well as several large birds and a few dwarf elephants, the archaeologists discovered man-made implements on the same site, pointing to a link between humans and the animals.

Radiocarbon dating puts the site at around 10,000 BC, some 3,000 years earlier than most scholars had assumed humans had arrived on the island.

Simmons says a small group of humans could have triggered extinction of the animals, which were already under stress from cold and dry climatic changes around 12,000 years ago. Many animals went extinct around the same time.

The article has plenty of ammunition for my scepticism. Halfway down a cliff? Great place to eat dinner. They stored the bones "for some reason". Can't even hazard a guess? Oh, and they mention the sheep that are probably more tasty, but somehow not extinct.

When you have read the work of Delair and Allan - unlikely for most archaeologists - you are made aware of caves full of bones being a worldwide phenomenon. Quite often many species are found all jumbled up, and there is no evidence of humans being behind the slaughter.

However, when there is an indication that humans have also had some activity in a bone cave, the assumption becomes we ate them all. Ignoring the possibility of a global catastrophe that mostly likely occurred circa 12,000 years ago.

Survival of the Crops

Survivalists tend to focus on coping without access to the luxuries of the current era. An aspect that is often neglected is that, whether it is due to global warming, cosmic rays, volcanic eruptions or a pole shift, you could find yourself suddenly in a new climate.

Consequently the crops of today might not prosper. A smart survivalist will make preparations for local climate change, and be ready to deploy crops that suit the new environment. Given that nobody knows if or how drastically the climate might change, this would require storing the seeds of a wide variety of crops.

Over in Peru there is a currently an initiative that is attempting to ensure, no matter what the climate, we will always have potatoes:
The Peruvian farmers will be paid to look after the most diverse collection of potatoes in the world. They will try growing varieties at different altitudes and in different climatic conditions so that if today's commercially available potato varieties start to fail anywhere in the world, replacement varieties will be ready and waiting.

Meta-Conciousness

Lines are being drawn between those that SEE the events surrounding December 21, 2012 as catastrophic and those that see it as an exponential change in consciousness. Let me draw an analogy though between the etheric body and the physical body. Everything IS ENERGY! The chicken and egg question doesn’t apply here because matter cannot create energy: energy creates matter. Our etheric body has created our physical form.

But, what’s up with meta-consciousness?

The understanding of consciousness is arguably the central issue in current theorizing about the mind. The working and fluid definition that I have personally arrived for consciousness is as follows. Consciousness is the eternal, timeless, and immaterial essence of all of humanity originating in God, preceding birth and extending beyond death. And? And, we are spirit beings, energy, consciousness.

The word meta can be even more complex than one might envision. I read a book eons ago (1970 something) entitled, Meta Talk by Gerard I. Nierenberg. From that I learned a very valuable principle that has taken my spiritual walk and my interpretation of the Bible to a much deeper level. I have gone from literal to metaphorical and beyond. You see, Nierenberg said that we had to read between the lines and that it’s not what IS SAID but also what IS NOT SAID that brings the more true, and complete meaning.

What were the Mayans saying to us? What were they NOT saying?

In essence, we must go beyond what our five senses tells us. We must even go beyond the sixth sense. What’s the intuitive self revealing, what’s seen in synchronicities (if we’re aware?), what’s the energy fields that we encounter every day, prompting us to understand? This matrix of energy that we live within, this FIELD of vibration, and the nuances of the heart-spirit, are leading us into worlds beyond sight and sound.

We are moving into an expanded consciousness of the true realities behind the form(s).

The Mayans knew far more than we now know, the prophets of old, the medicine men, the witch doctors of indigenous cultures, and the mystics of today are hearing and awakening. Are you one of them? Or are you tied to the natural world of the five senses? It’s one of the most important questions that you could ponder.

The Golden Age Of 2012?

Those on the 24/7 treadmill probably don’t feel it; however, for those that have found some space to fill and use it for a time of quiet meditation, you sense it. Things are changing so fast these days that we simply morph from one event, one consciousness, to another without realizing how far down the rabbit hole we have ventured. The digital and technological changes in the last ten years have been off the charts!

There is a death to the old ways. Old engrained habits no longer work, nor suffice.

The birth of the new though is still not recognized. It’s as though the birth canal is holding back and hiding that which will tell us what “this is”. The adherence to old belief systems is making it even harder for some to make the adjustments, squint a bit, and get a better focus on what’s approaching. It’s not the exact date of December 21, 2012, but the era in which we live and the events leading to 12.21.2012!

The computer world is a 1 and 0 world; however, the spiritual world isn’t good-bad, heaven-hell, nor this-that. There is a oneness and a holographic picture coming into focus that will forever change our world. Trying to come up with names and descriptions is too difficult to pin-point. Homo Luminous? Maybe!

More people are being drawn (however slowly that might be) into a more simple lifestyle.

And yet on the other hand, there are so many things that seem more and more complex, even weird. Have you noticed the increased synchronicity? Are you experiencing strange sensations to which there are no logical answers? Are your emotions peaking at times that make no sense? There are a host of descriptors that seem to be precursors to something big.

So, the question is how do you GET READY, or how does one become AWARE of the increasing change in consciousness that just might lead to a GOLDEN AGE?

More than just simplifying your life (which can take a long time for some), you must take chunks of each day for meditation, reflection, and contemplation. Use some of that time for “guided thoughts” and others for just being a blank page waiting for words to be written down. We must increasingly LISTEN and then have the COURAGE to take action on what it is that we have HEARD.

The golden age might be closer than you think. Who needs to wait another three years?

There are dozens of ideas about where we are headed over the next three years that lead to 12.21.2012. They mostly boil down to primary paths as we approach the proverbial “Y” in the road. The world comes to a crashing end or we become the sons of god or something akin to homo luminous: that’s a good thing y’all. But, could it be that WE hold the answer to any and all options? Let’s pretend it is so.

Let me borrow a five act scenario from Bruce Lipton in his new book, Spontaneous Evolution.

Bruce divides the historical world into four acts. Act 1 is when the photons of the sun touched earth some five billion years ago. Act 2 brought forth the single cell organism some seven hundred million years ago. Act 3 saw we humans arrive with some form of consciousness a million years ago. Act 4 has we humans forming clans, developing into communities, and beginning to war over what belongs to whom.

So, Bruce asks, “Is there an Act 5″?

The answer is of course dependent upon us. It’s a well-travelled phrase but a valid one for our times nonetheless, “We are the ones we have been waiting for.” Will we turn the cradle of civilization (Iraq) into the graveyard of humanity? Isn’t the choice ours? And if there are big things out in the universe that could come our way and do harm, are we not smart enough the know what to do?

The answer for what might be OUT THERE is IN HERE: within us.

We are the answer but a whole lot of dying is going to have to take place before we can come to the place of accepting what the sacrifice(s) are going to be. We are going to have to come to the point where we no longer victimize those who think differently than us. We’re going to have to learn how to get along with those who have different religious and philosophical views. Simply put, we must let other be who they are and not demand that they be as we are.

We is plural, and yet we are singular. Understanding what that means is our salvation.
